Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions are made between us, Stainless Scooter Products (referred to as SSP for this purpose) and you, the "customer" in respect of purchases of goods from SSP, either by website, telephone mail order or collection.
By placing an order with SSP you agree to these Terms and conditions. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
SSP is completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions, comments or complaints please email us.
We aim to address any complaints within 7 working days (usually much sooner) and work towards a speedy resolution to your best satisfaction, dealing with your complaint confidentially and keeping you fully informed at all times.
Making a Purchase
making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "CHECKOUT" and you will be asked for the remaining details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
You can pay by credit/debit card or Paypal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Delta. If you are unsure about any payment method, please call us.
If your credit card or debit card is not authorized or declined, we will not process your order, however you can contact us to arrange an alternative payment method.
1. Purchase orders for goods.
1.1 Purchases can be accepted for delivery worldwide. Oversea payments are made in GBP via Visa, Mastercard or Paypal only. Please contact us if you have difficulty paying.
1.2 Each purchase ordered from SSP shall be deemed to incorporate these terms and conditions.
1.3 The display of products on this SSP website constitutes an invitation to trade and not a formal offer.
1.4 An order will be placed by the Customer on the completion of the purchase process contemplated in the ordering process set out in these pages.
1.5 An order is only accepted by SSP and SSP only agrees to be contractually bound when SSP dispatches a confirmation of order to your e-mail address/postal address/fax number, depending on the method of ordering adopted.
1.6 Goods are sold subject to availability and, in relation to certain specific goods, there are geographical restrictions.
1.6a Due to various selling medium occasionally some items may be out of stock. In this case items will be put on back order or refunded at the discretion of SSP. Some items including fuel tanks are made to order. These items may take several weeks for delivery.
1.7 SSP reserves the right to alter the specification of the goods insofar as the performance of such goods is not materially altered.
1.8 Custom, bespoke and special orders must be paid for at time of ordering.
Due to the fact that these parts are supplied to individual customer requirements and may not be required by other people, these items are non refundable.
2. Prices and payment
2.1 In addition to the list price of goods, SSP reserves the right to make an extra charge for deliveries, the price of which will be shown at the point of ordering.
2.2 Ownership of a good shall not pass until cash to clear funds for the full price has been received by SSP until it has passed to the customer, the customer shall act as bailer of the goods for SSP and, at so far as reasonably practicable shall store the goods so that they are readily identifiable as the property of SSP.
2.3 SSP reserves the right to refuse and cancel an account and /or delivery at any time. In such circumstances, if the customer has paid for relevant goods, a refund or credit note shall be issued.
Returns will be credited only when the item has been returned. Items returned
that are not faulty shall carry a surcharge of 25% plus the postage cost.
2.4 Prices for goods are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax at the current rate and other relevant sales tax unless otherwise indicated in the ordering process.
3. Delivery Schedule
3.1 Delivery shall be deemed to take place on the date of the first attempt at delivery to the customer's premises or other place specified for delivery. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged over 18 years or over on delivery, if
no-one is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods may be retained by the driver.
3.2 Working days are Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) Sat (10am - 3pm) excluding any Bank or public holidays.
3.3 Each order or each installment of an order shall constitute a separate contract.
4. The maximum price re-paid is the full price paid by the customer, not including the postage cost. SSP is not responsible for the cost of posting items back to SSP. A handling charge of 25% is applied to all none faulty items returned.
5. Credit Card Security
We take credit card security very seriously and employ the maximum possible measures on this site. All credit card transactions are dealt with by an industry-leading provider of secure, online transaction systems. Your card details are encrypted
on a secure server and your transaction is processed in real time. If you have any concerns or require more information please email us.
Our store is loaded as an additional element on top of the website and all store contents are served over a secure SSL enabled connection. Any data collected on www.stainlessscooterproducts.com is sent back to our store backend through a secure connection as well. Payments take place on SagePay's hosted payment page over a secure connection.
6. Guarantees and Liability
everything sold on SSP is covered by a manufacturer's warranty for 12 months.
6.1 Goods sold by SSP are sold with parts warranty that they will be free of defects in material or workmanship at delivery and, provided they are used in the proper way, for the relevant period from delivery as indicated at the point of ordering.
6.2 SSP accepts no liability for defects in goods resulting from customer designs or requirements, or arising from wear and tear, willful damage, negligence incorrect fitting or misuse.
6.3 Due to the uncertain effect the polishing process has on the structure of any item. SSP liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the faulty item within the warranty period

Information and product specifications, including information relating to price and availability may be changed or updated without notice. No guarantee is given that the information accessible via www.stainlessscooterproducts.co.uk is accurate, complete or current. www.stainlessscooterproducts.co.uk may be temporarily unavailable from time to time. Nothing on www.stainlessscooterproducts.co.uk shall be construed as a warranty or representation.
6.5 Except as otherwise stated in these terms, SSP entire liability in respect of a particular good that has passed into the ownership of a customer and the customer' remedies shall be limited to, at SSP option and in accordance with its returns policy from time to time, a credit note in respect of the amount paid by the customer to SSP for such good; or the replacement or repair of the good by SSP.
6.6 SSP shall have no liability to the customer for indirect or consequential loss.
6.7 The maximum liability of SSP is for the refund or replacement of the said product supplied by SSP product.
6.8 Items polished on behalf of a customer by a person or company other than SSP are void of guarantee as SSP have no control of the polishing process.
Terms and conditions of Purchase by SSP
If any item purchased by SSP from a seller ( supplier) is deemed to be faulty. In the case of items already sold by SSP the supplier will refund SSP money to the full SSP selling price including postage and any additional return postage from the final purchaser. With items not already sold by SSP the supplier will refund the purchase price only.
SSP agrees to pay all invoices agreed to be due but, SSP will not accept or pay any late payment fees interest or other charges for any late or overdue payments from SSP for any purchase, hire or lease for which money is owed.
